Simple fraction calculation
Calculating with fractions is essential. It is important to know that addition, subtraction, multiplication and division have different rules that must be followed.
Multiplication is the simplest operation. Just multiply straight across.
In addition and subtraction, both fractions must have the same denominator.
Division is the same as multiplication with the reciprocal of the divisor. This is necessary when it is not possible to divide straight across.
How to use it
